I am writing to thank you for generously awarding me the Waltz Trust Health Care and DuttonSonnevil Scholarships. I was extremely appreciative to learn that I was selected as a recipient. I am a Community Health major with a minor in Human Biology. I plan to pursue a career as a Registered Nurse. I am getting ready to start my final year here at Western Oregon University where I will be applying to OHSU’s accelerated Nursing program. Thanks to you, I am one step closer to that goal. By awarding me these scholarships, you have lightened my financial burden which has allowed me to focus more on my studies.
