Shane Roberts

Dear Dugie and Shirley Freeman,

Thank you both for all you have done for me. My life has changed significantly over the past year and a half. It’s fantastic that I have people that have supported me through my career path change and transition. Both of you have inspired me to become smarter, happier, more giving, and more optimistic about my future.

I am still working every day to become the best leader and person I can from my job at Compose Senior Living Center, my board membership at Oregon Health and Science University as a Young Adult Leadership Council Member, Young Youth Engagement Advisory, and Child System Advisory Committee. I plan to finish my bachelors of science in psychology with a minor in communications spring 2020 and continue to have a significant influence on people with my clairvoyance superpowers (the supposed faculty of perceiving things or events in the future or beyond normal sensory contact). Additionally, I plan to earn my Masters in Mental Health Counseling in 2022 and eventually earn my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from an accredited university such as the University of Missouri, University of Arizona, or Portland State University.
