I would like to thank the board members who took time out of their days not only to meet with my fellow classmates and me, but also for selecting me as a scholarship recipient. I plan to put the funds I have received to good use this fall. This fall I will attend Southwestern Oregon Community College, where I will take on a full time schedule.
Also, I would like to thank the donors who provide the funding to Gold Beach Education Fund and its scholarships. Without these scholarships, I know myself and many others could not afford college and these funds allow us with a greater opportunity to continue our education.
